This classic gold and gunmetal twist pen is handcrafted from wood salvaged from the battleship USS Wisconsin, BB-64. The USS Wisconsin is the one of four Iowa class battleships, USS Iowa (BB-61), USS New Jersey (BB-62), USS Missouri (BB-63), and the USS Wisconsin (BB-64). The USS Wisconsin was built in the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard and was commissioned on December 7, 1943. The Wisconsin was decommissioned in September 1991 after a total of 14 years active service and having earned a total of 6 battle stars. The Wisconsin now functions as a museum in Norfolk, VA.
