This elegant gold and gunmetal twist pen is handcrafted with a small piece of the aluminum skin of a Curtiss P40 Warhawk and cast in acrylic. The Curtiss P40 Warhawk that this piece of aluminum skin was sourced from was present at Wheeler Field, Hawaii when the Japanese attacked Pear Harbor. The piece of the aluminum skin can be seen in the pictures located in the P40 silhouette. It survived the attack due to being under repair from a previous landing accident.
