This classic antique copper and black chrome twist pen is made of handcrafted wood salvaged from the wooden bleachers of Mountaineer Field, also known as the Jewel of the Mountains. Mountaineer Field was a football stadium located in downtown Morgantown, West Virginia and was the home of the West Virginia Mountaineers football team. Mountaineer Field opened in 1924 and closed in 1979. A new Mountaineer Field was opened in 1980 on the site of the Morgantown Country Club.
