This chrome and black chrome handcrafted twist pen is made from the plastic seats of Veterans Stadium which was home of the Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia Eagles. The seats are shredded and cast in acrylic resin. The Veterans Stadium, also known as The Vet, was a multi-purpose stadium, and was part of the South Philadelphia Sports Complex. Veterans Stadium was home of the MLB Philadelphia Phillies and the NFL Philadelphia Eagles from 1971 to 2003. Veterans Stadium was also host to the annual Army-Navy game 17 times from 1980 to 2001. Veterans Stadium was demolished in 2004 after being replaced by the Citizens Bank Park and Lincoln Financial Field.
