This elegant Chrome and Black Chrome twist pen is handcrafted from the plastic seats of Boone Pickens Stadium, home of the Oklahoma State University Cowboys. The seats are shredded and cast in resin. Oklahoma State University's Boone Pickens Stadium is the oldest stadium in the Big 12 Conference. Oklahoma State University, then known as Oklahoma A & M, fist began playing at the current site of Boone Pickens Stadium in 1913. It was first simply called Athletic Field and in 1914 was named Lewis Field. In 2003 Lewis Field was renamed Boone Pickens Stadium in honor of alumnus T. Boone Pickens, a Texas oilman, entrepreneur, and donor to the school. If you’re looking for an elegant and unique gift for that special someone, or just a pen for personal use, this pen is for you.
