This elegant gold titanium and black titanium twist pen is handcrafted from the plastic stadium seats of Mile High Stadium, former home of the Denver Broncos. The seats are shredded and cast in acrylic, then hand turned and polished. Built in 1948 and originally designed as a baseball venue, it was first home to the MiLB Denver Bears (1955-1992). The stadium was expanded later to accommodate the addition of the NFL Denver Broncos. Although Mile High Stadium was built as a baseball specific venue, it became more popular as a pro-football stadium despite hosting both sports for a majority of its live. Mile High Stadium was demolished in 2002.
