This Antique Brass and Black Chrome twist pen is handcrafted from an oak stave from a used Pappy Van Winkle bourbon barrel and a Pappy Van Winkle cigar label cast in clear acrylic. The lower portion of the body is made from an oak stave from a Pappy Van Winkle bourbon barrel. Pappy Van Winkle bourbons are aged 15, 20, or 23 years, which is considerably longer than the aging period for most bourbons. A distinguishing feature of Van Winkle bourbons is their use of wheat as the secondary ingredient instead of the usual rye, and their additional inclusion of barley malt.
